Bennett High School Senior Pictures – Brianna Wins the March Model Contest

Brianna of Bennett High School wins the March Model Contest in a commanding fashion. The contest required at least 100 votes to qualify and Brianna jumped out with a lead and never looked back. The next model adventure is taking place at Centennial Airport where we will be shooting editorial style and will be using an airplane or 2 for props. If you attend Bennett High School and know Brianna, congratulate her! Indiana Senior and Model Photographer: Businesses Partnering

Another photographer and business partner I have had the opportunity of working with is Indiana Senior and Model Photographer, Casey Johson. Casey and I met through United Professional Portrait Photographers Association (UPPPA), which is an organization of photographers helping each other to grow, but more importantly giving back to our respective communities. We, Photography by Demetrius, know and understand the challenges of having a network in order to be successful and this Indiana senior and model photographer has been there to lend a helping hand through the early years of our growth.

Casey is and has been exploring the concept of destination senior pictures as well and this will likely be an offering added to our respective plates. Can you imagine the Indiana senior and model photographer and Colorado’s fashion inspired senior photographer converging in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with a few of our respective high school senior models and clients to create a once-in-a-lifetime event for them? Who knows, if we get enough interest, we may do it!

I met Wisconsin Senior Photographer and studio owner, Tiffany Austin, through our affiliation with United Professional Portrait Photographers Association (UPPPA) just about a year ago. After moving into my current studio, Tiffany was really gracious with giving some advice that ultimately helped us have our best year to date. As you know, we are always looking to push the edge of senior photography with new and interesting looks and this Wisconsin senior photographer is a great partner in keeping that edge beyond just the borders of Colorado.

We are just ramping up on our Denver senior model program and continuing the quest for the unusual settings and events for our models. The first shoot featured Cirque de Soleil where the senior models were showing their stuff on the rings and silks with style and grace.

Now we are taking our models out to Centennial Airport for an editorial style shoot inside the hangar with planes, sun and a little class.

Fashion Inspired Senior Pictures – Model Contest

We kicked off the 2012 Year with more fashion inspired senior pictures of our newest model reps for the studio. They are currently battling it out for votes on Facebook in order to win prizes. Fashion inspired senior pictures are driven by fashion trends and the constant need to stay modern and relavent. Most studios that focus on “high school seniors” have become so boring and cliche with their photography, but we refuse to take the easy way out. Fashion trends change often and so do the knowledge necessary to recreate fashion tones, sets and overall styling that is required to be a professional photographer staying with the times. Fashion inspired senior pictures are influenced by Vogue, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, GQ and the numerous advertisements geared toward showcasing pop culture.
